Be Water Safe with Goldfish Swim on May 20

It is unfortunate, but according to the Centers for Disease Control, drowning is the leading cause of accidental-injury death among children ages 1 to 4. In conjunction with National Water Safety Month, Goldfish Swim School’s professional, certified and trained instructors, area families and local community partners will be presenting water safety in a fun and educational way on May 20, 2017.

Swim Safe is important. Lessons and knowing basic safety rules for the pool can help.

Goldfish Swim School’s annual Water Safety Day is held at Goldfish metro Detroit locations. Locations include:

• Ann Arbor,
• Birmingham,
• Canton,
• Clarkston,
• Farmington Hills,
• Macomb and Rochester

At the free events, children and families will receive information through water safety classes about ways to stay safer in and around the water this summer. Goldfish aims to educate families by calling attention to steps we can all take to prevent accidents from occurring.
